- Geo-Environmental Recruitment (GER) are looking for a new team member to join us in Cornwall. We are a specialist contract personnel business, working in the global marine energy industry. We offer the opportunity to work with clients and consultants from around the world whilst working for a small private company.
Job Description: Tasks to include, but not limited to:
- Interface with Client Crewing Planners / Coordinators regarding crew change details and necessary logistics for projects;
- Assisting GER to develop strong relationships with contract personnel by providing the highest level of service;
- Verify personnel's certification required for working offshore is appropriate and in date;
- Administration of client and consultant related documentation ensuring compliance;
- Assist with organising visas for personnel;
- Inputting personnel movements into the company database along with all other communications as required;
- Ensure accurate maintenance of offshore personnel information in the company database;
- Liaise with our providers to organise transportation, including flights, hire cars and accommodation in line with company and client policies as and when required;
- Inform personnel of all mobilisation / demobilisation details in a timely and accurate manner;
- Update personnel CVs in the company format as and when required;
- Undertake general administration duties to support the daily operations of the company.
The Successful Applicant: You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment, logistics or administration role. Have had previous responsibility for the administration of client, supplier related documentation and ensuring compliance. Be able to develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers by providing the highest level of service. Able to prioritise your work load to meet deadlines and deliver maximum operational efficiency. Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and have worked with data bases. Possess excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Salaries: Competitive salary, negotiable, depending on experience plus bonus potential. Pension and 25 days holiday.
We expect high standards, but will provide training and support as required to allow success in the role. The role requires someone ambitious and proactive, with an ability to work autonomously.
