- Description
- Our client is a leading remediation contractor with offices across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit for a number of technical positions, including an additional Remediation Engineer. You will be working as part of a team to deliver remediation projects within budget and programme. The role can be based from our client’s office in the West Midlands or North West; although the role will be predominantly site based, which will involve working away from home.
We are keen to hear from Candidates with a remediation background; ideally:
- Degree qualified (with a geology or environmental bias) with a minimum of 2 years’ post graduate experience and hold a suitable CSCS or similar card.
- Experience in the interpretation of historical site investigation data.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of at least a few remediation technologies eg. bio-remediation, in-situ process based systems, water treatment and soil stabilisation.
- Experienced in environmental monitoring and sampling of soils, gas and water.
- Experience in site investigation techniques (trial pitting, logging, drilling, etc.) including supervision thereof.
- Ability to contribute to technical reports and preparing Environmental Permit Deployment forms and Material Management Plans would be an advantage.
You must have a full UK valid driving license
